Miami Vice Director Michael Mann Acquires Vacheron Malte Worn in Movie

Vacheron CEO Juan-Carlos Torres took the opportunity to personally hand
the watch to Michael Mann.

In Miami Vice, character Sonny
Crocket (played by Colin Farrell) was wearing a Vacheron Constantin
Malte Chronograph Perpetual Calendar in Platinum. Michael Mann decided
to acquire it for his own personal collection.

The case, done
in platinum, measures 39mm, has double sapphire crystals and is water
resistant to 30 meters.

Movement is the manual-wind Vacheron
caliber VC 1141QP with 21 jewels, beating at 18,000 bph and a power
reserve of 48 hours.

Functions are hours, minutes, small
second, date, days, month, year, moon
phase, chronograph minute
counter and center seconds register.

Thanks.
